We are looking for a talented practitioner who is passionate about design and innovative storytelling through a marketing lens. As Marketing Designer, you are an integral part of the marketing function for G&A, visually presenting us to the world; cohesively evolving and applying our brand across multiple platforms. As G&A’s brand champion you will be successful because you skillfully communicate our visual identity, providing brand design strategy, tactics, and tools that substantively and functionally support company growth. You must be committed to internal client service; relentlessly positive and calm under pressure; a team player able to successfully prioritize, and multi-task to complete projects with aggressive timelines.
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads and maintains G&A brand identity design, production, and quality management internally and externally; translates needs and brand objectives into effective design direction. Develops tactics which continually enhance brand equity, and demonstrably resonate with our internal and external clients. Develops digital design for all online marketing channels; sets overall guidelines for online content format, structure, and design.
Required education and core competencies: Bachelor's degree in graphics and/or digital media communications, Media Arts, brand marketing or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional graphic design and/or interactive design experience in web platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage successful visual campaign design across traditional channels and social media, digital and web platforms
Required software skills: expert competency in Adobe Creative Suite, basic front-end development knowledge (CSS/HTML5), CMS, WordPress. Competencies in Sketch, LiveType, DVD Studio Pro, Keynote, and PowerPoint, and basic knowledge of Google Enterprise software are a plus. Video editing/animation experience a big plus (After Effects, Premiere)
