Visual Designer

We are seeking a Visual Designer to join our collaborative studio environment. The candidate should have experience implementing user-centered design principles across a range of projects, from websites to mobile applications to large-scale touch screen interactions. The ideal candidate should also have strong graphic skills and experience working in small cross functional creative teams. The candidate should be able to contribute to documenting and presenting interactions and designs in a manner that both clients and developers can understand.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design process 1-3 projects at a time
Participate in brainstorms and translate concepts to engaging user experiences and visual designs
Work with team to establish vision, strategy, and stakeholders requirements
Communicate ideas and design rationale both verbally and visually
Work with creatives and developers to ensure design quality from conceptualization, design development to production
Present and explain design decisions within team members and to clients, able to facilitate, lead design meetings

Qualifications and Experience

1-3 years experience working in interaction design
Experience designing physical installations, web, mobile, cross-platform applications
Experience producing UI deliverables and design documentation
Experience with motion graphics, 3D environment, and time based media
Superior knowledge of both Figma and Adobe Suite plus related business and design tools
Experience producing low-to-high-fidelity prototypes, knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
Solid understanding and demonstration of user centered design principles
