During his career, Christian has created a diverse portfolio of projects throughout his career spanning cultural, commercial, and public spaces.

Clare Brown
Clare Brown is Creative Director of the Washington DC Studio. With over twenty years of experience in design for cultural institutions, her work focuses on applying contemporary design practices to exhibitions and pushing innovation in the design of museum experiences. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Experience Design at the University of The Arts, London, where she has a strong focus on integrated and collaborative design practice—especially through collaborative facilitation. Clare is an experienced educator and speaker, previously the Head of Program for the Masters of Design in Exhibition Design at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at George Washington University. She presents nationally and internationally about exhibition design and has published several articles including a chapter in Suzanne MacLeod's 2019 book, The Future of Museum and Gallery Design: Purpose, Process, Perception.

Greg Matty
Greg joined Gallagher & Associates in 2001. He is a LEED-certified, licensed architect with a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Greg practiced architecture for over 10 years prior to his transition to exhibition design and served as an adjunct and a full-time design professor at several Colleges and Universities. For the past 30 years, his focus has been on museum planning and exhibition design covering a wide variety of topics including natural history, cultural history, and sports. Greg brings an excellent sense of spatial design and organization to all the projects he works on.

Gretchen Coss
Gretchen is a visionary leader, educator, and designer with over thirty-five years of experience in brand management, experience design, and placemaking. Prior to Gallagher & Associates, Gretchen was Vice President/Director of Graphics for Gensler LA and had her own successful business for over a decade. She has been instrumental in building G&A as an international design firm by bringing both an entrepreneurial spirit and unparalleled relationship-building to Gallagher. She is a passionate educator and active industry leader, serving on the board of the Society for Experiential Graphic Design for six years, where she was a past president. She was also an Adjunct Professor at the Corcoran College of Art + Design and sits on the National Board for the Fashion Institute of Technology. Gretchen continues to lead museum planning and visioning workshops throughout the world for organizations such as ICOM, IMCC, SEGD, and AAM.

Jason is a senior designer with 13 years of experience working on heritage, leisure, retail, and commercial projects in Africa and the United Kingdom. John Christie is an accomplished, experienced and well-connected executive in the museums, attractions, and sports industries for more than 25 years. He has significant experience in Design, Construction, Project Planning and Oversight, Budget Management, Contract Negotiations, and Operations. He has been involved in all aspects of cultural projects with management experience on projects that are varied in size, scope, scale, and complexity. Most recently, John served as EVP & COO, and eventually, president, of the College Football Hall of Fame project in Atlanta, Georgia, leading the project team of architects, exhibit design, media development, fabrication, A/V integration, general contractor and a host of other mission-critical project functions.

Jonathan has over 15 years’ experience as an application developer and technical team lead. In his role as Technical Director, he employs a confluence of technologies to tell a compelling story—bridging the efforts of design teams with multiple partners. He began his career making medical education software and then moved on to creative agency work. He has developed complex innovating experiences for the world’s leading firms in education, entertainment, automotive, and retail, and have consulted for events and installations in Saudi Arabia, Germany, Japan, Canada, and across the US. His past relevant works include a suite of interconnected digital experiences for Toys-R-Us, large-scale 3D vehicle explorer installations for Mercedes-Benz, the first-ever VR vehicle showroom for Cadillac, a fully-immersive 4D-enhanced VR experience in downtown Manhattan.
