Project managers must be able to work in a team atmosphere and work on a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced atmosphere. The project manager is the primary point of contact between the design team and client with regards to contract, deliverables, schedule and budget. The outcome of a successful project manager is an on-time, on-budget project that succeeds in providing the best possible design product within the hours allocated.

Responsibilities include; day-to- day client interaction, communication and sets and manages client expectations, creating and maintains project budgets and schedules, performing all duties both internal and external in the upmost professional manner as a representation of the organization, creating and executing project work plans and schedules as per the contract, ensuring exhibit project development and deliverables adhere to contractual obligations, facilitating team and client meetings effectively, documenting and tracks decisions, approvals, and action items from meeting and calls, analyzing exhibit project profitability, revenue, and fiscal responsibility of team, coordinating with consultants to guarantee integration of all aspects on the project, responsible for contracting and managing all G&A sub-consultants, responsible for monthly billing and contract changes/tracking, producing all project correspondence including but not limited to agendas, meeting notes, memorandums, etc., workin with Senior staff to identify staffing resources via Visions software and assisting with New Business development.

Qualifications include; Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), must be familiar with Vision® project management software for multiple projects, ability to develop fabrication estimates, a major plus, 7+ years of working in a design agency, or other relevant industry, experience within the exhibit design industry preferred, 5+ years of experience in a Project Management role, familiar with the project phases for exhibition design, must have basic financial and cost management skills, must have experience working with government contracts, familiarity with the Singapore tender process is highly desirable and fluency in Mandarin (conversational, reading and writing) a bonus.

Lead Front-End Developer

Gallagher & Associates is looking for a diversely talented Lead Front-End Web Developer. As a Lead Front-End Web Developer, your main responsibilities will be architecting our web stack and developing large scale interactive experiences in a team environment. You will be responsible for mentoring and training junior and mid developers, as well as being involved in hiring additional members for your team. You will be reporting to the Director of Technology, but will be working in a dynamic environment where projects develop in a collaboration with a variety of departments including project management, visual design, ux design, etc.

G&A specializes in site specific interactive experiences. We are interested in using web technologies for traditional purposes (i.e. informational kiosks, micro sites), as well as challenging purposes such as locally distributed gaming mechanisms, WebGL realtime rendering, animations, and spatial exploration tools. The Lead Front Developer should help us navigate the current set of web technologies, and aid the team in pushing forward the limits of our web based interactives. You will work in collaboratively with internal design teams and with clients including renowned museums, corporations, universities and governmental organizations. Our projects range from traveling exhibits, to corporate centers, to large scale museums.

Responsibilities include; researching and guiding selection of front-end development stack / frameworks, architecting, developing and installing production ready interactives, collaborating with partners in Visual Design, User Experience Design, Research, Content Strategy, and the Exhibit design team, to understand the essence of each interactive experience, project Ideation / project Scoping / requirements vetting, guiding and developing junior and mid level developers, participate in hiring additional team members, strategic planning and development of a reusable code base, rapid prototyping (as needed) and participating constructively in inter-department communications.

Qualifications include; degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus, minimum 4+ years developing cutting edge web experiences, experience leading software development efforts / teams, experience working in an agile or iterative fashion, expert knowledge of modern web stacks and WebAPIs (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, React, Angular, Relational, REST APIs, WebSockets, WebRTC, WebGL, D3, etc), working knowledge of backend technologies, experience with long-running websites or installations, experience working with GIT, and familiar with other version control systems, experience working with a ticketing system such as Jira and experience working in a creative field.

The position entails working on a variety of projects across multiple mediums – mobile and web platforms, multi-user media installations and theatrical presentations. G&A has a diverse client base including world-class museums, corporations, cultural and government institutions. We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multi-office studio environment.

You are an advocate for the user, excited about building beautiful spatial experiences, with a deep understanding of interaction design, and enjoy all stages of design, from sketching and collaborating, to researching and testing, to polishing designs.
