National Medal of Honor Museum

The National Medal of Honor Museum is dedicated to the lives and legacies of more than 3,500 Medal of Honor recipients. From the outset, G&A worked in close partnership with the Museum to shape a design approach that balances the gravity of military history with innovative, future-forward tools for engagement.

Every gallery is designed to create a deeply personal connection between visitors and the individuals whose actions define the Medal of Honor. Interactive media, authentic artifacts, and immersive environments transform remarkable acts of bravery into powerful human stories that inspire reflection, empathy, and understanding.

Rather than presenting history as a collection of military achievements, the exhibition explores the character behind the Medal. Stories of courage, integrity, commitment, sacrifice, citizenship, and patriotism unfold through layered interpretation and multimedia experiences, encouraging guests to consider how these values resonate in their own lives.

Every element of the exhibition is designed to foster connection while preserving the dignity and humanity of each story.

The National Medal of Honor Museum offers more than a historical experience—it serves as a place for remembrance, reflection, and inspiration. By combining authentic storytelling with immersive design, the museum ensures that the legacy of Medal of Honor recipients continues to educate and inspire future generations.
