Marketing Director

This is a senior, hands-on marketing role for someone who knows how to position creative excellence, tell compelling stories, and help an agency stand out in a crowded world—without shouting. Working directly with the Chief Creative Officer, you’ll shape and execute G&A’s marketing strategy across brand, content, campaigns, PR and thought leadership.
All Open Roles

This is a rare opportunity to shape the voice, visibility, and influence of a globally respected experience design firm at a moment of real momentum. You’ll work directly with the Chief Creative Officer, have genuine ownership over how G&A shows up in the world, and help define what great marketing looks like for a creative organization that believes experience is everything.

If you’re excited by the idea of building something with taste, clarity, and ambition—and want your thinking to genuinely matter—this role offers the freedom, trust, and creative partnership to do your best work.

What you’ll do/Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Brand

  • Develop and execute G&A’s marketing strategy in close partnership with the CCO.
  • Help evolve and protect the G&A brand across all touch points—confident, considered, and creatively distinctive.
  • Ensure consistency of voice, tone, and visual identity across channels.

Content & Storytelling

  • Lead the creation of compelling marketing content: case studies, thought leadership, campaign narratives, presentations, and digital content.
  • Work closely with internal creative teams to translate complex work into clear, engaging stories.
  • Identify and develop strong editorial angles around G&A’s work, people, and perspectives.

Campaigns & Channels

  • Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and web.
  • Oversee G&A’s presence on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms—strategic, not noisy.
  • Track performance and optimize campaigns based on insight, not vanity metrics.

PR, Awards & Thought Leadership

  • Support PR initiatives, press outreach, and media relationships.
  • Manage awards submissions and industry recognition efforts.
  • Help position G&A leaders as visible, credible voices within the experience design and cultural sectors.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner closely with Business Development, Creative, and Leadership teams.
  • Manage external partners, freelancers, or agencies as needed.
  • Bring clarity, momentum, and high standards to everything marketing touches.

What You Bring:

  • 5-8 years of marketing experience, ideally within a marketing, branding or creative agency
  • Experience marketing professional services, creative work or complex offerings
  • Demonstrated ability to own initiatives end-to-end
  • Experience managing or developing junior team members
  • Excellent writing, storytelling and editorial judgment
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with practical execution
  • Confidence working directly with senior leadership
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Taste. Judgement. A healthy skepticism of buzzwords

Nice to Have

  • Experience in architecture, design, cultural, or experience-driven industries.
  • Familiarity with awards programs, PR processes, and thought leadership platforms.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and leadership in agency environments.

Why G&A

  • globally respected experience design work
  • access to senior leadership
  • meaningful cultural / brand / place-based projects
  • ability to influence rather than simply execute
  • multidisciplinary creative environment
  • a firm that takes quality, discipline, and craft seriously
